Our new store in Helsinki, Punavuori has been open for a few weeks now. In a short time, we have received a lot of praise from our visitors, which we are, of course, extremely grateful for.
The design was carried out in cooperation with Maria Kangaskortet. Maria is studying interior design in Lahti and maintains The Realm of Maria video blog. Maria had wonderful, fresh ideas as a student in the field, which fit very well with our products.
Fredrikinkatu 16 has proven to be a great location. The design shops and cafés in the surrounding attract pedestrians to the streets and the passers-by stop by easily into the area’s shops. The area is part of the Design District Helsinki, which is why tourists are also walking around the streets.
In decoration, we have used local partners. On the floor there are Finarte rugs, the bed linen are from Langø, the desk is lighted with the Himmee lamp and the ceiling’s spot lights are from Valaisin Grönlund. For the floor, we cooperated with Tarkett, whose Finnish staff gets from us a full ten of the great service.
If you have not yet visited our store, we are open normally between Mon-Fri 12-17 and Sat 11-15. Next week (18-21 April) our shop is closed because we attend the Children’s Fair in the Helsinki Fair Center.
See you at the store and in fairs!
