The structure of the book cart is robust, but its appearance is Scandinavian clear. Design is also well suited for the lobby or living room. It is easily movable thanks to tires.
The book cart is made of melamine-coated birch plywood, which is durable and easy to clean.
The book cart was designed by Timo Niskanen, known as the lighting designer and owner of Himmee. Designing for LumoKids, gave Timo the opportunity to design something for his own sons. The starting point for the design process was a perceived need in the nursery. As the children grew, more space was needed for new books. Children’s preferences and size were taken into account when designing the book cart.
